Am Montag, dem 30.Mai begaben sich die Kinder der ersten Klassen der NMS Grafenegg auf ein unbekanntes Abenteuer, nämlich das einer Sommersportwoche. Da coronabedingt in den Volksschulen mehrtägige Ausflüge nicht erlaubt waren, haben sich Kinder und Eltern schon sehr darauf gefreut.
Nach dreistündiger Fahrt wurde das JGH St.Gilgen erreicht und sofort bezogen (inkl. Bettwäsche beziehen). Doch viel Zeit haben die Kids nicht auf ihren Zimmern verbracht. Es gab sowohl sportliche Herausforderungen (schwimmen-wasserspringen-trekking-......) als auch kulturelle Highlights (Hallstadt-Museum der Völker-St.Wolfgang-Haus der Natur-......).
Am Freitag, dem 3.Juni erreichten die 50 Kinder mit ihren Begleitlehrer*innen gesund aber müde den "heimatlichen Hafen" in Grafenegg.

On Monday, May 30th, the year one pupils of the secondary school Grafenegg went on a cliffhanger, the desired summer-sports-week.
After two long years of abstinence because of Corona the kids and their parents were very pleased.
The journey took three hours and after the arrival at the youth hostel St. Gilgen the kids immediately moved into their rooms and indeed they learned how to handle the bed linen. But they didn't have long time to stay in their rooms due to the very special highlights like swimming in the famous Wolfgangsee, visiting Hallstatt (salt mine) and Salzburg (inner city & house of nature), .... and they went on a hiking-tour from St. Gilgen to St. Wolfgang and returned on a ship.
On Friday, June 3rd, fifty happy but tired kids and their teachers arrived at home.
